Horrible.  Bill and I noticed a lot of horrendous speeders weaving in an out of the traffic on the Boquete/David highway.  One passed a police car.  Police in that car I guess were not designated traffic police.  Puzzling.

Moderator comment: From Twitter. Here is an unedited automated translation of the text: "An hour ago: traffic accident in front of the terronal plaza leaves two injured. It is known that a third vehicle took flight." At the bottom of this posting are the full set of images for better visibility. From these images, one would have to conclude that it was one heck of an impact for the entire front of the taxi to be missing.

The driver of this former pickup trick blew way over on the SecoMeter after he dumped it down the ravine near the Tourist Centre and landed by the river road this afternoon.

Looks like a cooler there near the wreckage. Four people injured.
