Homocide Victim in La Horqueta

Prosecutor initiates homicide investigation in Boquete

An investigation was initiated by the crime against life and personal integrity, in the form of homicide, to the detriment of the citizen Teodoro Montezuma Gallardo, through the Section of Homicide/ Femicide in the province of Chiriqui, where it was determined that the cause of death was by stabbing wound.

The facts were that on the 8th of June, when the body of the deceased, was found in the sector known as La Tina, in Cerro Horqueta, in the district of Boquete.

According to his family, Montezuma Gallardo had disappeared about six days before, had been given its finding and according to the testimony of the family, the deceased had been sharing with some friends at the end of last week and since then they had not seen him any more, for which began their search.

In the result of autopsy, it was determined that a wound by a sharp object, in the area of the leg, caused his death.

The Prosecutor Coordinator of the Section of Murder/Femicide, Humberto Rodríguez Batista, indicated that have been initiated in conjunction with his colleagues, that would make the investigation to determine the person or persons responsible that may be linked with the events that led to this crime.
