TwoSailors
If you read the referenced article it points out the number one country to move to is Panama. It points out what we here already know and that is what a great country Panama is. http://www.thestreet.com/story/13497310/1/leaving-america-if-trump-becomes-president-here-are-5-places-you-can-go.html Admin_01 Comment: This is not posted as a political topic. Replies about the subject of Panama in general and Chiriqui in particular as a place to live is in keeping with CL guidelines. Those wishing to respond to any political matters (especially those related to the ongoing campaign in the US) are advised to post elsewhere. CL is about life in Chiriqui. Edited March 22, 2016 by Admin_01 Clarification of the intent of this posting.
JudyS
It seems a lot of the true and factual answers to the questions on this site are from people with no businesses promoting tourism. The usual overblown hype answers like the ones you find on International Living (e.g., Panama has abundant caregiving services for the elderly; Panama has excellent vets) are from the real estate and tourist promoting people.
