It turns out our model HP uses the 950 series, but is NOT compatible with the higher capacity (the XL) version of these cartridges. These cartridges were brought in from the US. Turns out PriceSmart no longer carries these black cartridges, but does carry the companion 951 series color cartridges. We bought our printer there a few years back. Go figure.
