The  Consumer Protection and Competition Defense Authority (Acodeco) named seven restaurants and franchises that failed to comply with the percentages of fatty acids. The announcement came after visits to meal providers in Panama City mainly in shopping centers.

The eateries that recorded anomalies are: El Tajonaso Inn in the Albrook Grand Terminal, Pollo Tropical restaurant in the Albrook shopping center (outside area), Arturo's Albrook shopping center (carousel area), Mc Donald's of Altaplaza Mall, Mc. Donald's de los Andes Mall, Carls Jr. Ricardo J. Alfaro Avenue and Mc. Donald's of the Town Center Mall.
