  1. Water Restore to my condo sometime during the night. I would like to thank the workers skilled or unskilled and the politicians I talked to on the phone for showing up and correcting the problem. I take issue with desparaging remarks about the workers and the politicians that showed up and worked and sweated while I was under my A/C and in Boquete. So, I have practiced using the ignore button. These insults have followed us to this website sadly. Thanks Bud for incorporating this feature.

    Water Restored

The water to my condo was restored sometime during the night. These guys did the best they could no matter how skilled they are at their jobs or profession. And, at least a poIitcian showed up. I would never make fun of them when commenting on a water outage after all I live in "THEIR" country. Sadly these comments were posted on a thread I started about a water outage. Having said this, I will no longer allow these kind of remarks on MY blog or MY public post. These types of defamations were allowed on ning but their was not a personal setting to prevent this malpractice from Showing Up On My POST. So, the ignore button is the way to go on individuals like this for me. I never onced complained. I lived in a country for a year with out running water. So, I know what it is like. I went to Boquete to watch a football game in a public place. Not once in the public place, where I was watching the football game, were the workers or politicians slammed while disussing the water outage (community). I brought some water home from Dolega and tried to boil some of it. But, there was another huge problem----I fell asleep on the sofa while the water was boiling. Again, I can't blame anyone. The quality of my problems increase everyday here in Panama. Global Rules: All members must be treated in a respectful and adult manner. All members should respect and adhere to the promotion of harmony within the community. Do not attempt to disrupt the community in any way.Community is the KEY WORD. IDAAN workers and politicians are COMMUNITY. I know some will play on words but community is on this site or on the streets in my opinion.
  3. No water at this time in David. We'll see. IDANN might not have given correct information. Might be other problems.

    Sunday ride

I'm the one with the round eyes. I was in a special operations unit. We patrolled the DMZ in Korea and later in Vietnam. By the way, guys on the DMZ in Korea still draw combat pay today. Another tid bit. Life is good today.
  5. The Red Plastic Can on top of the car had a hose running to the engine! It is his gas tank. He left it running while he ran inside to get a take out breakfast.

    Found Missing Friend---Small World

I've been a part of a few sites such as yours. All sites have a few minor problems at first. And, suggestions to you from members are considered promptly. Over all I find your site informative, well managed, and for the most part local. The rules are clear and concise. Some of us just need to reread them once in a while!!!!! lol Have a good day Bud. Old Aunts

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poke me in the ribs and cackle, telling me, “You’re next.” They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

    Block Feature

"The only permenant thing in life is "Change".-----never happens for some people. I use the block feature only for the last option and give most people the benifit of doubt. Some people just take life too seriously, were born jerks or enjoy being jerks, or are unhappy with the decision they made to move to Panama and most of all,-------(The Know It All). So, thanks for the "Peace Of Mind Button."

We were eating breakfast at KM35 and he drove up. That's his gas tank. He couldn't turn off the engine tho. He was in a hurry with his go box.

    Nov 3 parade

Great parade. They seem to do so much with so little and take pride in their work.
