I wonder how many of the deaths reported by the CDC were dismissed as "flu" related ..... when then may have been something else (i.e. coronavirus ... COVID-19)?? Numbers can be skewed and reported in many ways ... to strengthen an argument one way .... or another.

My package was received by CVT in Miami on 23 JAN 2020 and should have been in Boquete by the 30th of January at the latest ..... but it was not. I kept inquiring with CVT about my package and they gave lame excuses - afraid to provide the truth. I finally received the WhatsApp message from "Empresa Deluxe International" on 11 FEB 2020, citing that they had my package in David. I picked up my package in David. If your package is "hostage" within the building in Boquete ..... I cannot offer any assistance with that other than to say, contact Empresa Deluxe International at 6317-0346 .... since they took over CVT. Their hours are 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.Monday thru Friday ...... 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday

Jude: Thank you for that information .... VERY helpful. I just spoke to Dante and they do issue IDPs for Panama. Much more expensive than the usual $20.00, but at least you can get one. In case anyone is interested .... his fee is $100.00 for a one-year IDP and $180.00 for a two-year IDP. Brian

Hello "BD" ..... while I will be traveling, I will be driving my friend's vehicle. Their insurance asked for my license and IDP (which is customary in Canada). I possess a Panamanian drivers license, which is why I was asking if I can obtain an IDP at the Registry in David. I guess that I will go there and find out. Thanks, Brian

Hello. For "mailing" address, I was instructed to use my physical address - although we receive no mail here. I used Mail Boxes Etc. to mail mine out (via DHL) ... they put their return address on the return slip and they notified me once it came back to them. If you are using The Box Shop, make sure they use their return address and you will be fine.

Hello: If you are using the electronic version of Form DS-82 01-2017, you should clearly see item #8, "8. Mailing Address: Line 1: Street/RFD#, P.O. Box, or URB" on Page 1. Item #18, 18. "Permanent Address: If P.O. Box is listed under Mailing Address or if residence is different from Mailing Address." is found on page 2. Hope that helps, but let me know if you need help - I just successfully went thru this process a couple of months ago.

Hello: Has anyone ever sold a cemetery plot here in Boquete? My friend owns five (5) meters of land in the cemetery and wishes to sell it as he has moved back to Canada.
