One of the points where the saint was worshiped was the capital's neighborhood of El Chorrillo, in which pilgrims carried the image on their backs before placing it on a barge, confirmed Acan-Efe on a tour of the believing people. The same action was repeated by the National Aeronaval Service (Senan) of Panama, from the Peñón de San José on the Flamenco island in Amador. The image was escorted by several vessels and units of the National Police, the Institutional Protection Service (SPI), and the National Frontier Service (Senafront).
