Tickets at the door: Only $5.00 admission will get you a free Rum Punch - Rum donated by Panama Red - our major sponsor this year. There will also be free popcorn. Anything else you need can be purchased from the bar, and Leslie will have a special for the evening - her ever-popular Pulled Pork Sliders! Find out who won the prizes, given by Big Daddy's Beach Resort, The Haven and NotSeryus Productions. There will be chance to discuss the videos with the judges and videographers. Moderators Moderator_02 Posted June 18, 2018 Moderators Share Posted June 18, 2018 Marcelyn and I attended the 2nd Annual Boquete Video Festival (BVF) Awards Ceremony. It was held at The Clubhouse at BCP, and the house was packed. There were eight video entries for this year's competition. Here is a picture of the event from our vantage point toward the back of the seating area. Phil Bennett provided some of his presentation materials to help us prepare this review. Thank you, Phil. And Mike Schwartz was emcee. Leslie King and her staff provided refreshments and had excellent foods and munchies for the attendees. The 2018 BVF Best of Show Runner Up award, which was sponsored by The Haven, was won by Unretire Me Boquete. The 2018 BVF Best of Show award, which was sponsored by Big Daddy's Beach Club and Hotel, was won by We Work Hard for Our Money. To our way of thinking, the event was a big success.
