$350 million Road Works Adjudicated

In Panama, FCC Construcción and Operadora Cicsa will be in charge of the expansion works to six lanes of the Las Playas Corridor, on the Santa Cruz - San Carlos section.

The companies that took part in the tender for the extension of the road sections were the Consortium FCC-Corredor de Las Playas II, composed of FCC Construcción S.A. and Operadora Cicsa S.A., and the Consortium Vial-II, formed by Constructora Meco, S.A. and Constructora Urbana, S.A., with offers of $350 million and $319 million, respectively.

"Expansion of the Pan American Highway in the stretch between Santa Cruz -San Carlos, with an approximate length of 21k + 800, and also includes the variant Chame - Punta Barco with an approximate length of 13k + 600 with four (4) lanes two (2) in each direction as well as the renovation of the existing via Chame Punta Barco (13k + 200) and the design and construction of returns to the flyover in the area of Coronado.
