Judith Tovar Posted April 26, 2018 Share Posted April 26, 2018 APRIL 29, 2018 (SUNDAY) = CHIRIQUI AGAINST BOCAS DEL TORO APRIL 29 IS THE LAST GAME AT THE DAVID STADIUM IF MORE GAMES ARE NECESSARY TO COMPLETE THE CHAMPIONSHIP…THE REST OF THE GAMES ARE IN PANAMA JOIN US TO SEE ONE OF THESE SUPER EXCITING “FINAL” BASEBALL GAMES AT THE NEW STADIUM IN DAVID THE FIRST TEAM THAT WINS 4 OUT OF 7 GAMES IS THE CHAMPION FOR THIS SEASON! RIGHT NOW SCORE IS 1 BOCAS…1 CHIRIQUI GET TO SEE ONE OF THE STARS (ORIGINALLY FROM CHIRIQUI)…CARLOS RUIZ…WHO IS PLAYING WITH THE “CHIRIQUI TEAM”. Carlos played as “catcher” for 10 years with the Phillies from Philadelphia. He then played with the Dodgers….and then moved to play with The Marlins from Seattle. He retired with the Marlins last year. Now the rumor is that he is being offered to play with the Mets from New York!! He is number 51. ITINERARY: 1.) Bus leaves Boquete at 3:30PM. We go directly to the David Stadium. We should arrive at the Stadium around 4:15pm. Busloads of people from Bocas del Toro are expected that day, so we need to get there early to get good seats! 2.) If you get hungry you can get things to eat at the Stadium. They sell beer, soda, water, pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos, Kentucky Fried Chicken, etc. 3.) Baseball game starts at 6PM. 4.) We will have already bought your baseball tickets. Stadium starts selling tickets at noon that day…..so we will buy the tickets at that time…so that you don`t have to make a line when we get to the stadium..and you don`t have to go to David at noon and stay there until game starts! 5.) After the game we come back to Boquete This package includes: Round bus trip in the Gold bus…with wine and beer on the way, your baseball ticket…and a super fun afternoon/evening!! Keith Woolford Posted April 30, 2018 Share Posted April 30, 2018 The start of the baseball game last night was rain delayed until 8:45 p.m. so it didn't conclude until 1:16 a.m. this morning. Chiriqui won 4-3 and leads the series 3-2 heading to Panama City for the final two games of the national championship at Rod Carew National Stadium.
