Collapsed bridge company working in Panama

The company that built the pedestrian bridge that collapsed on  Thursday, March 15, near the campus of the University of Florida, in Miami, crushing vehicles that passed below and causing the death of several people has a strong presence in Panama reports TVN.

It has rehabilitated important works in Panama including the Bridge of the Americas.

The Miami bridge was built by the company Munilla Construction Management (MCM), in association with FIGG Bridge Engineers  It had a weight of 950 tons and allegedly had to withstand hurricane winds.

MCM Global, the business branch in Panama, has since its arrival in 2010 he has been responsible, among other things, for the rehabilitation of the Bridge of the Americas, the construction of the Public Market of and the expansion of the sewage system of the City of Panama.
