Karan
Calling all carpenters and/or mechanics to volunteer to teach part-time at the Arturo Miro Rehabilitation Center for young men in Potrerillos Arriba. No prior teaching skills needed, just a strong desire to help teach a skill to young Panamanian boys who want to learn a trade. Vocational education is a "way out" for most of these young boys who can only improve their lives by learning a skill. Workshops for both carpentry and mechanics have already been established and now need volunteers to step-up to the plate and help out. If you speak some Spanish and can spare just a few hours a week to help teach a skill to young Panamanian boys, the Rehabilitation Center desperately needs your help. For more information, please all Willy Schreiber at 6781-9601.
