Keith Woolford
A woman who had been drinking tried to avoid a Police breathalyzer check in David yesterday and hit the officer who was trying to stop her with her late model Mercedes. Seemingly feeling entitled, she fled the scene but was caught in short order. The officer was sent to Hospital with minor injuries and the woman was locked up for impaired driving and hit & run. http://www.telemetro.com/nacionales/Mujer-atropella-David-tratando-alcoholemia_0_1088891556.html Edited December 10, 2017 by Keith Woolford
Marcelyn
Sounds like she was “impaired” for sure.
Keith Woolford
A Christmas message from the Transit Police, roughly translated as follows: The Transit Police reminds you that during these party days, the only ones who drink, and drink, and still drink, are the fish in the river. The rest will have fines and the loss of their vehicle and Driver's License. Thanks for your attention Edited December 17, 2017 by Keith Woolford
Keith Woolford
No fooling around with the crackdown on Drinking and Driving, as evidenced here with the Director of ANATI for Chiriqui being charged for the offense while driving a state-owned vehicle.
