The Emergency Operations Center (COE)  has issued a 72 hours green alert, from Friday, November 17 through the weekend due to a semi-stationary low-pressure system in the Caribbean. The alert covers seven provinces and a Comarca.

A green alert means constant monitoring for the rains that are expected with possibilities of flooding in many areas.

The note, says the atmospheric condition continues generating instability in the country, according to the latest report of Hydrometeorology of Etesa.

The alert is issued for the provinces of Chiriquí, Veraguas, Coclé, Los Santos, Darién, Panama, Colón and the Ngäbe Buglé Comarca.
