Wednesday, November 15, 2017 The proposals put forward by the consortiums taking part in this tender were Consorcio Abba Arraiján, Consorcio Degremont Suez Burunga y Consorcio PTAR Arraiján 2016. The proponent in the process of receiving the award is the consortium PTAR Arraiján 2016, which presented the lowest bid for $120,450,584.69.See details of the offers submitted by the participating consortiums in May of this year and information on the tender here. From a statement issued by the Panama Sanitation Program:Panama City, November 9, 2017.- The Ministry of Health, through the Sanitation Program of Panama, has awarded the contract for "Design, Construction, Operation and Maintenance of a Wastewater Treatment Plant in Arraiján Este, the Trunk System and its Interconnections and of the Operation and Maintenance of the Sanitary Sewer Networks in Burunga and Arraiján Cabecera".This project includes the construction of the Wastewater Treatment Plant, 5km of sewage networks in Burunga and three pumping stations; In addition, the selected company will be in charge of the Operation and Maintenance of this project for 10 years. This Treatment Plant will benefit more than 85,000 people in the area of Burunga, Cerro Silvestre, Nuevo Chorrillo and Arraiján Cabecera.
