Keith Woolford
The Transito motorcycle policeman assigned to Boquete and the Bomberos were busy this morning cleaning up after two multiple vehicle crashes that took place on clear, dry pavement before 9:30 a.m., one in front of Alto Dorado and the other at the bottom of the hill heading into Bajo. Both incidents involved Taxis. All five vehicles that I saw were left inoperable and required towing. Watch out. That pull out at Alto Dorado (as well at the Plaza SF) can be tricky. You can never assume the car in front will continue a turn at the same speed ( or speed up). Getting rear-ended always concerns me.

Pat
IMO. Watch out for these vans. Often over-crowded with passengers and I've noticed they travel on the yellow line taking their space in the middle of the roadway. Used to think the taxi drivers were the "accident about to happen". But maybe not?
