Keith Woolford
There was a payroll heist near Divala yesterday. Two farm workers coming from the Bank in David and carrying about $6k to $7k, were assaulted when they got off the bus by four armed robbers who fled in a white Prado. One suspect was later captured. It's the custom here to pay agricultural workers in cash on Saturdays, which means it's usually a bad morning to go to the Bank. Many clients, in order to have the exact change up at the finca, are making multiple withdrawals, sometimes worker by worker, at that time.
