Monday, January 9, 2017 The information system "Construction Projects in Panama" prepared by the Business Intelligence Unit at CentralAmericaData, provides an up to date list of construction projects for which environmental impact assessment (EIA) studies were submitted to the Ministry of Environment of Panama in October 2016. Details of some of the projects: Seagull Beach, S.A. submitted an EIA to build, on Isla Boca Brava, San Lorenzo district, province of Chiriqui, four buildings that will house a total of 428 apartments. The project is called "Isla Mar" and according to the document the estimated investment is $30,000,000.Propiedades Penonome, S.A. submitted an EIA to build, in Canaveral, Penonomé District, province of Cocle, a residencial complex with 326 single family homes on lots of approximately 255 m2 complete with utilities. According to the study the project is called "Construcción del Residencial "Altos de Zaratí" en Cañaveral, Distrito de Penonomé" and the investment amount is $8,200,000.Limayon, S.A. submitted an EIA to set up 95 residential lots with an average area of 450 m 2, plus streets and green areas. The project is called "Urbanización Doral Villas II Etapa (Área 02)" and is located in Algarrobos, district of Dolega, Chiriqui province.
