Besides the fact that policeman is seriously wounded, but also a daylight robbery in a government office. Dumb. Although this incident is not specifically related to Chiriquí, I have opted to place it here because this kind of attack could just as easily occur at a government office in David. Further, the article clearly says that all DGI offices countrywide are temporarily suspended. And finally, i am confused. If payments can only be made by check, then how was any money actually stolen? According to Cortés, the payment of taxes and fines can only be made by check.
