Dennis Philpot
I'm going to the US for a couple of weeks in mid-September and thought about seeing if I could get into my dentist for a $100 teeth cleaning. Then the other day I walked by a dental clinic in town. I don't know the street name but I think it is next to a Peruvian restaurant. The door was locked but I looked inside and the clinic looked clean and upscale. So I wondered if any CL friends have references about this clinic or any others in town. I think I'd rather have the teeth cleaning done here for less if the care is just as good. Thanks in advance. Dennis
Bonnie
I and many others have had good dental cleanings here for around $30. I use Dra. Sanjur across from Fletes Chevale, but I've also heard good things about Dra. Luz (next to Machu Picchu) and Dra. Lambiz in Hospital Chiriqui. When he visits, my son always takes advantage of having his teeth cleaned at a vastly reduced cost.
JudyS
Dra. Sanjur now charges $50 for cleaning. She does a very thorough cleaning.
John R Hampton
Monica Sanjur has cleaned my teeth for nearly five years and she always charged $40. Last week it became $50 but she is totally warranted in raising her prices. Time marches on . . . just like us.
TwoSailors
Dr Luz next to Machu Picchu. Excellent. Clean modern office and a great dentist. I went in February and it was $30 for complete cleaning! Called for an appointment she answered and took great care. 7201735
MarieElaine
When I went to Monica I was quoted $180 for tooth extraction. When I balked at the price she asked if I would pay $100. Gringo pricing?
