Hello everyone!  For July, the amount of the monthly donations were $1,796.00 (this included funds from our fundraiser Men Who Cook) and expenses totaled $1,309.00.  Thank you to everyone who contributed!

3 dogs and 4 cats found their forever home this month….we are so happy for these furrys!  If you have any friends or relatives looking for a pet, please direct them to our site or have them contact us, as we have many that will be ready for adoption in the coming weeks.  We currently have 35 dogs/puppies and 12 cats/kittens under the ARF umbrella that we are caring for.

A special thank you goes out to Cindie R. who donated two crates to us for use in transportation and boarding.

Please consider fostering an animal if you are able to do so.  When you foster an animal with ARF, we take care of all food and medical expenses – we just need you to provide a loving and protective environment.

If you are not in the position to foster an animal, please consider making a donation. Any amount is greatly appreciated.

Events:

Our Men Who Cook event took place on July 23rd and was a great success!  The food was delicious (thanks guys!) and the setting was beautiful (thanks to the Kents) All had a great time.  This will most likely be an addition to the ARF annual events.

The next Bingo event is coming up soon and details will be put out shortly.  Location is La Villa at the BPC.  Remember to invite your friends – we are offering cash prizes and the more people that attend, the bigger the prizes!

The fundraising team has several fun ideas on the table for our next event and we will keep you advised.

Here are a few of our friends needing a foster or forever home:  Nubee, Indy and Tasha.  Please visit our web site for more information on them.

We also need help in additional areas.  Other volunteer positions available are:

Transporters:  We need people willing to transport animals and help us set up for our fundraising functions and other events.

Fundraising:  A great opportunity to be creative and have some fun putting together fundraisers for the animals.

If you are interested and would like to participate, please visit our site in the volunteer section and complete a form.

And of course, we need……FOSTERS, FOSTERS, FOSTERS!

In Memoriam - TIKO:  Last but not least, our thoughts go out to Beth Abrahams, one of our dedicated volunteers, who sadly lost her beloved Tiko this month to acute Pancreatitis.  If you have a Miniature Schnauzer, please read up on this silent killer.
