The 25-year-old dancer and marketing graduate bested 11 other candidates for the right to represent the country at the 2019 Miss World contest in December in London. She also won Beauty with a Purpose and Talent fast tracks. Meanwhile, Krysthelle Barretto Reichlin of Panama Centro was named Miss Friendship Panama 2020. She also bagged the Top Model and Multimedia fast tracks. Panama has yet to win the Miss World crown. The country currently ranks 39th in Missosology Big 5 Ranking. Crowning Agustina was Miss World Panama 2018 Solaris Barba who finished in the Top 12 in Miss World 2018 earning her the title of Miss World Americas. Solaris Barba crowns Miss World Panama 2019 Agustina holds a degree in marketing and is completing a second degree in Business Administration. Her ‘Beauty With a Purpose’ project involves working with teen mothers and young girls who have been abused, by helping them psychologically by organising workshops and gatherings in order to ease the pain and help them take control over their lives. She is also a certified dance instructor and has travelled overseas to represent Panama in Arabic dance tournaments. 2nd place was Miss Panama Capital, Krysthelle Barretto and in 3rd place was Miss Panama Oeste, Luisa Lopez Agustina will now enjoy a year of appearances in her new role and will represent Panama along with 130 contestants from around the world at the three-week festival and 69th Miss World Final in London.
