A home in  Las Mañanitas was sealed off by the Civil Protection Agency (Sinaproc) on Sunday following rains which caused landslides and brought down trees. and power lines

The wall of a home in Pedregal collapsed causing severe damage.

According to the Etesa Hydrometeorological Bulletin, the transition between the dry and rainy seasons on the Pacific slope begins in April. The Pacific breeze is one of the main factors in the production of rain on the slope. April is also one of the hottest month’s of the year as  the sun's rays fall impact almost perpendicular on the country, It is recommended to follow the instructions of the Joint Task Force (FTC).

Floods and landslides alert

Heavy rain on Sunday afternoon, April 21, caused flooding in several parts of Panama City and Panama West, and the Civil Protection Agency (Sinaproc) warned of more to come and possible landslides in deforested areas.
