Moderators Moderator_02 Posted February 28, 2019 Moderators Share Posted February 28, 2019 Quote Large areas of city without water Sunday Posted 26/02/2019 Large sectors of Panama City will be without water on Sunday, March 3 says the Water and Sewer authority (Idaan) The Federico Guardia Conte water treatment plant, in Chilibre, will suspend operations from near midnight on Saturday, March 2 until 5:00 pm Sunday for maintenance work T he water supply will be suspended throughout the capital, in sectors such as: Rio Abajo, Parque Lefevre, San Francisco, Transistmica, El Dorado, Tumba Muerto, Pueblo Nuevo, La Cresta, La Locería, Betania, Miraflores, Altos de Miraflores, Dos Mares, Villa de Las Fuentes 1 and 2, Santa María, Hato Pintado, Altos de Panamá, Carrasquilla, Plaza Edison, Limajo, 12 de Octubre, Panamá Viejo, Obarrio, Paitilla, Punta Pacifica, Costa del Este, Calle 50, Avenida Balboa, via Brazil, Via España, El Carmen, Bella Vista, via Argentina, El Cangrejo, and part of Clayton. All the corregimientos of the district of San Miguelito, Panama north, from Las Cumbres to Buena Vista, and all the remote sectors of the network that comprise Panama East from Pedregal to La Siesta de Tocumen will also be affected. According to the Idaan, the sectors of Calidonia, Santa Ana, Perejil, San Felipe, El Chorrillo and reverted areas that are supplied by the water treatment plant of Miraflores are excepted.
