At least nine children have died from whooping cough in the Ngäbe Buglé comarca, where part of the community belongs to the Mama Tata religion, opposed to vaccination.

Nine needless, preventable deaths.

After reading this article, it's difficult to believe that educated people exist who are against the immunization of children who cannot speak for themselves.
