Moderators Moderator_02 Posted September 12, 2018 Moderators Share Posted September 12, 2018 Quote Randall Delgado will play in the Dominican winter baseball Tue, 09/11/2018 - 17:38 Panamanian pitcher Randall Delgado will remain active during the winter season in the Dominican Republic, despite not having a good year in Major League Baseball. Delgado started the year with the Arizona Diamondbacks, a team that rescinded his contract on July 31 before re-signing him on August 18 with a minor league deal that ended the season. Now he will strengthen the Tigres del Licey, who announced him and the American Connor Sadzeck as part of their pitching staff for the next season, thanks in large part to the possibility he has to serve as a starter and reliever. The manager of the Tigres, Luis Urueta, said that Delgado "is a versatile arm that will give us multiple tickets and could be a starter if necessary." Playing for the Tigres is not something new in Randall Delgado's career, as he participated with the team in the 2012-2013 and 2014-2015 seasons. 2018 was a bittersweet year for the baseball player born in Los Santos, since during his stay in the big Arizona team he left a mark of two wins without defeats in a total of six appearances, but with a high ERA of 5.14. In the minors he played with Visalia Rawhide of Class A Advanced, and Reno Aces of Triple A category, and in 20 presentations he obtained two wins and one defeat and a very good ERA percentage of 2.15. https://www.panamatoday.com/sports/randall-delgado-will-play-dominican-winter-baseball-7817
