  1. Pictures are great and the musical really took me back to that time in my life.  It was a good reminder of just how much our lives changed from the early 60's, simple, fun, carefree and happy, until the end of the 60's with war, rebellion, protests, drug and hate.  What a time to live in and I'm so glad to have personally experienced all of it.  Boquete is filled with amazing talent.  And so happy to be living here.

Boquete Ladies and Guys....................There has been such an overwhelming response to this trip the Party Bus girls, Judy Tovar and Linda Hart, have a second bus going.  That bus is almost full.  If you have any interest in going Nov. 14-Nov. 16, please don't hesitate to contact us for reservations.  Thank you.

  3. Great pictures Bud.  You captured the event very well. I can personally attest to the fact that the 2nd seating was equally enjoyed by our supporters.  Many of them came from David.  My sweet friend and partner, Judy, has a butterfly as her personal picture signature, and it suits her perfectly.  She is very seldom not fluttering around long enough to capture her beautiful smile.  😍   Thank you everyone for making this event a success.

  4. As of today there are no additional tables available at the Dec. 9th Christmas party.  We are overwhelmed by the response to attend.  If you are still interested, please contact Linda Hart @ Lhart249@hotmail.com and we will put you on the waiting list.  Those who have received reservation numbers, please present to the hostess Sunday at the event.

  6. Joe Hart, President of ACCBoquete, has been working with the local police in Boquete (and David) for some 6 years now.  Our main goal has been to support and work "with" the local Police, learn how They do things and not push the "way we do it in the our Country" down their throats.  That is NOT what they want to hear.  We have taught them English classes which they are very receptive to.  It has taken a long time to develop the respect and to be treated as "one of them" by the local police to the point they share war stories with Joe.  Perhaps you should consider Joe Hart meeting beforehand with the Police.

  7. ACCBoquete would like to say a big THANK YOU to all our friends in Boquete for making our 4th of July fundraising event at Big Daddy's a success.  Here are the results...winners of the silent auction items were:  Donna O'Brien, Heather Dyer, Franc Lugo, Joyce Kinnear, Javier Samaniego, Geovana Caballero, Doris Martinez, Rich, Vicki Phelps, and Patti Powers.

The winner of the 50/50 Raffle was none other than ACCBoquete's friend, Leslie King, who walked away with $119.00!

    Congratulations to all the winners.

As for the results of the fundraiser, we reached our goal to purchase a refrigerator for the Police checkpoint substation and then some.

A special collection was taken for the family of Nurys Castrellon who was murdered last Sunday.  We collected $168.00 to which ACCBouquete added additional money  to round off to $200.   This is in keeping with our Mission Statement which states we support First Responders and the Community.  This is a horrific tragedy for the Manuel Castrellon family and we are glad we could help.

We would like to extend our appreciation to the businesses that provided the gift certificates for the silent auction.....Sugar & Spice, Mail Boxes, Etc., Milano Italiano, and Big Daddy's Beach Resort.

Thank you to Big Daddy's Chris Young, Justin Isham and all the staff for great food, drinks and service and Bill McGraw for the entertainment!

ACCBoquete is proud to be apart of Boquete.
  8. ACCBoquete would like to thank everyone that attended the Victorian High Tea at The Garden last week.  It was a wonderful, entertaining event and we were fortunate to raise money towards the purchase a new stove for the Boquete Police Department.  A big thanks to Heather Dyer who entertained us all with her wit and English background stories.  Can't thank you all enough.

  9. I think next time as people enter someone should be sure attendees know all those details.  Actually there was only Big Daddy's selling pizza besides the food truck and Morts Bakery selling soft pretzels and Leslie from Skateworld had desserts.  Thanks for your comments.

  10. Thanks to everyone for your comments.  We totally agree that the music was too loud!  I worked as one of the servers and it was difficult for me to take  orders.  I had to ask to repeat them.  We asked repeatedly for them to tone it down throughout the day and they never did.  I am so sorry about that.  We have learned some things from this experience and will definitely take all suggestions into consideration for the next event.  More umpapa would have been better too.  Thank you for coming and also for your suggestions.  Linda Hart -ACCB
