  1. Bartelyby, you just don't get it or you do not understand the seriousness of your accusation. There is not a medical practitioner alive that would substantiate your "claim" of salmonella from a restaurant meal just eaten. Were you even diagnosed? You only make yourself appear more irresponsible by continuing this. The issue is that in my adopted country (of 6 years), we are more careful about making unsubstantiated claims. Time will tell whether you stay in Panama (I will not take bets on it).
  2. I agree with the majority of these responses. Your accusation is slanderous. You have no proof that 1) it was salmonella and 2) you acquired it at ChopSticks. Your accusation about "the guy at Value Motors" continues to exhibit your irresponsibility. Your posting is far from a warning. It does potential damage to a very good restaurant whose hygiene is beyond most restaurants in Boquete and whose food ingredients are carefully screened. Your irresponsible rants are a discredit to the expat community and do potential damage to a business that is new and has been well received. Your comments and actions belong back in the country from which you came!
  3. Meet Nico. He is a loving, playful and well trained dog and weighs about 32 pounds. He is house trained and has all of his shots. He is a better watch dog than our Goldens. The problem is that the older dogs will not accept him. We are looking for a good home for him. If you are interested, please let us know. Nico.docx
  4. Has anyone any experience with a podiatrist here or in David? My wife has a toe problem and needs a bone shaved. We use Mae Lewis Hospital for our internist but I do not think they have one there. Thanks for any recommendations
  5. Today was the day for electronic nightmares. My computer, routers and printers decided to go "whacko" at the same time. I called Hastor Computer in Boquete. The owner said he would be here at 3:00 p.m. He showed up in time -- for those NorteAmericanos who have not yet learned to speak the language of THIS country -- he also speaks English well. He repaired everything within 45 minutes -- was extremely proficient and knowledgeable. It is nice to know that, when you have in-home electronic issues, there is such a great service (accompanied by as professional a person) as one could hope for. I recommend Hastor Computer very highly. I know you will not be disappointed in the service or the price. The number is : (507) 720.2917
